You will notice that product shots taken inside a studio versus outdoor shots are different in appearance. The handmade nature of the boot also makes each piece unique from the other.

We offer a wide range of styles on our website, some of which are often restocked while some are exclusives only. Since each pair is handmade, our production timeline is usually 3-6 months depending on the style, so it takes longer to restock any given product. You can use our Find a Retailer Tool on the product page to find the boots at any of our retail partners. For limited style, we can take back-orders or special orders. We are required by law to charge sales tax for orders shipped within California.

You will be sent an email confirmation once the order has been received and also when your order ships. Please also check your junk folder. It’s a system generated automated email which your mail settings can flag as spam. You can also go to Order Tracking to track your order anytime.

Unfortunately we cannot ship to a PO Box at present. We ship via UPS and need a physical street address for delivery.

At present, we offer Free UPS Ground shipping within US, excluding Hawaii & Alaska, UPS 3-day, 2-day & Overnight Shipping. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for more information.

Your order will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders placed late on Friday or on the weekends will not be processed until Monday. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for more information

We offer Free Ground Shipping within US, excluding Hawaii & Alaska. For all other forms of shipping, you can calculate the shipping charge at checkout. Shipping rates vary by the package weight, destination and the selected service type.

We do offer 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day shipping via UPS. Please note that there is no weekend delivery option available at present and orders received late on Friday, past noon will not be processed until Monday (or the next business day during long-weekends).

Unfortunately, we do not offer a weekend delivery service at the moment.

Yes, all orders shipped require signature upon receipt.


If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, it’s ok. We accept returns of unworn items in original condition within 30 days from the date of purchase. A pre-paid return label is always shipped with your order. Exceptions apply to items on Final Sale where no returns/exchanges are accepted. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns Page for more info.

Exchanges of unworn items in original conditions are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Please note that our inventory is limited on some styles and we may not have the exchange product you are looking for. Please get in touch with for further details on your exchanges. You will receive an email notification once your account has been credited. It may take 2-10 business days for the amount to show on your card depending on your bank. Paypal transactions are usually available within one business day.


We recommend a professional leather Conditioner. Since each piece of leather reacts differently to any application on it, we recommend testing it on a small area of the boot, before using it.

Old Gringo provides a six month workmanship warranty for any new unaltered Old Gringo Boot. If the footwear has been altered in any way, the warranty is voided. This includes but is not limited to stretching, resoling, re-heeling, cutting, painting or adding zippers.

Our boots are not waterproof, so we recommend not wearing them out in the rain.

We do not recommend wearing our boots in snow. It can cause severe damage to the boots.

Each pair and leather is unique and different from the other. Boot care depends on the work type and the leather. You can find detailed instructions on Boot Care here.


Our boots in general run true to size. However the style and silhouette of the boot also dictates the size at times, making any given style a half size larger or smaller. Please refer to Our Fit Guide here to find your correct size.

Your credit card will be charged when you place the order. It may not reflect on your transactions right away, depending on the credit card company. You will however get an instant email notification from us once the order has been placed and the card has been charged.

Please contact if you would like to place a special order. Every request is unique and given the volume of our designs and styles, we will need to consider each request.

We do not keep stock of or restock every item available on the website. If you cannot find a style anymore, it probably is out of stock and we are not restocking it, or the style has been discontinued and we cannot make it. Yes, we can ship international orders.

The rates depend on the package weight and dimensions. You can estimate international shipping and tax charges before you check out.

You, as the buyer, are responsible for paying all associated custom, tax, duties and shipping charges on international order. We do not charge you additional fees, if any, associated with international shipping and we are not responsible for covering those charges, if there are, either.
